By accessing or using ChartPuppy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Account Terms

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account and password
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Ensuring your account information is accurate and up to date

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Distribute malware or other harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service to generate misleading or deceptive visualizations

API Usage

Use of the ChartPuppy API is subject to rate limits based on your plan tier. You may not circumvent these limits or use the API in a way that degrades service quality for other users. API keys are confidential and must not be shared publicly.

Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the data you upload and the charts you create using the Service. ChartPuppy retains all rights to the Service itself, including its software, design, and documentation. Starter templates are provided under a license that permits use within the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though we may retain certain data as required by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChartPuppy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claims under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the liability.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
